Test description / objective

This test case should verify that the search bar function works and you can search different places by name.

Test pre-state

  • Tukko should be set up
  • Search feature should be implemented

Test steps

  1. Open Tukko.
  2. Write existing place name within Finland into the search bar.
  3. The place should be found. Check result.
  4. Close Tukko.

Test end-state

  • The search functionality should remain intact, and the system should revert to its initial state, ready for further testing or user interaction.

To be taken into account during test

  • How do å, ä and ö function?

Test result (Pass/Fail Criteria)

  • PASS condition: Correct location can be found using the search bar.
  • FAIL condition: Location cannot be found using the search bar.
