Test description / objective

This test case should verify how the search bar functions, when user searches for a location that does not exist.

Test pre-state

  • Tukko should be set up
  • Search feature should be implemented

Test steps

  1. Open Tukko.
  2. Write non-existing place name within Finland into the search bar.
  3. The place should not be found.
  4. Close Tukko

Test end-state

  • The search functionality should remain intact, and the system should revert to its initial state, ready for further testing or user interaction.

To be taken into account during test

  • How do å, ä and ö function?

Test result (Pass/Fail Criteria)

  • PASS condition: Searched location cannot be found using the search bar.

  • FAIL condition: A random location is shown to the user.
